“The only person who is educated is the one who has learned how to learn and change.”

About Me
First and foremost, I am a human being - just like you. I try not to be the stereotypical stale depiction of a psychotherapist you typically see on TV.
Instead, I build a warm, supportive and non-judgemental relationship with my clients, wherein they can feel seen and able to look more deeply into themselves. It is through this deep introspection that change happens.
No matter what may be troubling you, I am open ears and ready to work through this with you. There is nothing too shameful, too taboo, too scary for us not to tackle together… when you are ready.
Although I may have gone through intensive education and training to be a psychotherapist, that does not make me the "expert" of your life. You are the expert of your life... my training and experience just enable me to initiate the change you are seeking.
I am registered with The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, one of the leading bodies for this profession in the UK. Registration with this body means I have to adhere to strict ethical standards in my practice, keeping you safe in my care. I am formally trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and person-centered therapy. This means I can pull from a range of methods and theories, resulting in a bespoke and unique approach suited to your individual needs.
I am in the final stages of completing a doctorate in Counselling Psychology. My research explores the experience of stigmatised minorities in the UK. This gives me specific expertise in working with sexuality, ethnicity, disability, religious affiliation, and gender-related issues.
I provide online only and I currently have availability. Please complete the contact form to enquire about working together.
